A classically trained composer and critically acclaimed performer and songwriter, Gina Borys shares her spirit and professionalism with you as she composes your perfect song. As an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist Gina has numerous fans supporting her original works in the alternative folk genre. Gina is a graduate of the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston where she studied musical composition. She is also an award-winning songwriter, winning “Best Folk Song” in VH1’s "Song of the Year" competition in 2004 for her song River, and winning runner up and honorable mentions for overall best song of the year in 2006 and 2007.
With love of all music from hard rock to folk, her songs incorporate elements
as expansive as the spaghetti western scores of Ennio Morricone and the
gentle crooning of Tony Bennett. In addition to her solo acoustic folk music, she also performs in the all-female Led Zeppelin cover band “Moby Chick,” where she emulates the iconic guitar work of Jimmy Page.
